Blisscareer is a comprehensive career coaching and resource platform designed to help international students and recent graduates successfully navigate the German and European job markets. The platform provides a structured methodology—Strategize, Plan, and Execute—to turn academic backgrounds into gainful employment.
The Challenge:
International candidates often face high barriers to entry due to unfamiliarity with local hiring standards (e.g., the “airport test” or specific CV formats). The goal was to create a digital “toolkit” that felt supportive, authoritative, and easy to navigate.
Key objectives included:
Content Management: Organizing a massive library of career guides, podcasts, and “Career IN” blog series for various roles (AI Specialist, Supply Chain, etc.).
Guided User Journey: Implementing a flow that leads users through the three core phases: Strategize (The What), Plan (The How), and Execute (The Action).
Internationalization: Providing a resource hub that addresses the specific needs of international job seekers in Germany and the Netherlands.
My Role & Execution:
As the Web Developer / Content Strategist, I focused on creating a resource-heavy ecosystem that prioritizes mentorship and actionable advice.
Strategic Resource Hub: I designed and implemented the “Start with the Basics” section, ensuring that essential tools like CV assessments, cover letter templates, and LinkedIn profile optimization were front and center.
Database of Opportunity: Built and managed dynamic lists for Graduate Programs in Germany and the Netherlands, allowing users to filter opportunities by country and industry.
Multimedia Integration: Integrated a Podcast and Webinar player directly into the site, allowing Blisscareer to build community trust through audio-visual storytelling.
Personalized Coaching Flow: Developed the lead-capture and booking system for 1-on-1 Mentoring, connecting users directly with Dan Solomon and other career experts.
Results & Impact
